This is an open competition, so non members can enter. You have 4 days to fish, to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes. This is a measure comp, so make sure you have the NZSFC App in your phone before you head out fishing. Scroll down for the comp details.

About the event
The competition starts 6am on Wed 24th April 2024 until Saturday 3pm 27th April 2024. This is a measure only competition.
You must load your catches (on an approved measure mat) into the NZSFC App. The scoreboard will not be visable for this competition.
Prizes awarded for Snapper (Adult and Jnr) Kahawhai (Adult and Jnr), Trevally and Kingfish - open age
$1000 cash for the average length Snapper. $3500 in total worth of prizes, with heaps of spot prizes.
Fishing can take place anywhere, but you must be present at the prize giving to collect your prize. The bar and food will be available from 3pm, with prize giving starting at around 5pm on Saturday. There are many spot prizes so ensure you are at the prize giving.
Rules
You cannot register once the competition has started. Fishing can take place anywhere, as long as you are present at the prize giving. You can enter as many fish as you like. Screenshots will not be accepted. If you have trouble loading the app, or a fish please phone Karl on 0222772759
The $1000 cash prize will only go to one winner. If multiple people have the same winning measurement, one name will be drawn from a hat. Decision is full and final.
All safety precautions must be taken to protect everyone on board the fishing vessel. Please check weather conditions before heading out, and ensure that the bar is safe to cross if going out through Mangawhai or the Kaipara harbour. Please wear life jackets, and be responsible out on the water.
Should the competition be postponed due to bad /unsafe weather, all tickets purchased will be transferred to the new dated event. If you cannot attend the new dated competitio please contact Kerry 0274842253.
