Get ready for the Mangawhai Boating & Fishing Club’s 2026 Summer Slam, brought to you by Aidan Hand Mortgages and Mangawhai Marine!
This exclusive, members-only event runs from January 1st to 31st, giving you a whole month to reel in the longest Snapper, Kingfish or Trevally to win a share of $2000 worth of prizes.
Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just love being out on the water, this competition is all about fun, friendly rivalry, and celebrating our club’s passion for fishing. Don’t miss out - start 2026 with a month full of family fishing missions in our beautiful bay!
Competition Details
There are Senior and Junior prizes up for grabs for longest Snapper, longest Kingfish, and longest Trevally. All you have to do is catch and record your fish in the NZ Sport Fishing App in January for your chance to win.
This is a length-based measurement competition.
