Wāhine o Te Moana - Ladies Fishing Competition - Kings Birthday 30/31 May 2026
Firstly, a huge thank you to our event sponsor - Amanda Bond from Bayleys Mangawhai.
This is a ladies-only event.
Tickets are $40 per entrant. Female juniors may enter but there are no specific prizes for juniors. It is all open class.
Please note a percentage of our ticket sales will be donated to Te Whai Trust, a fantastic organisation who give so much to our local community.
There will be a pre-competition briefing at the Club on Friday 29th May at 6pm (don't worry if you can't attend - we will share all necessary information by email). The competition starts at 6am, Saturday 30th May and runs til 3pm, Sunday 31st May 2026. Prize giving will be at the Club from 5pm on Sunday 31st May.
