Our annual competition against the Waipu Fishing Club. 2 days fishing for the 2 largest snapper. Measure only. Jump on the bus and come along for the festivities- a few celebratory drinks and great food available. $20 per person return trip on the bus. More details below.

About the event
Measure In:Â Â Â 1600-1615 WBFC clubrooms, 100 Nova Scotia Drive, Waipu
Each club weighmaster is to present valid measure photos of their best two snappers, photos to be able to be location, date and time stamp available.
Fishing Area:Â Taiharuru in the North, East to outside the Hen & Chicks (max 1 km) and South to Te Arai Point.
Eligibility:Â Â Current financial members of both clubs.
                      Charter or commercial boat owners/operators are not eligible to participate.
